Trump: Iran has allowed 20 oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz

U.S. President Trump said on the 29th that Iran last week allowed 10 oil tankers flying the Pakistani flag to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, and that number has now increased to 20. He told the British Financial Times, “These tankers have set sail and are traveling straight through the center of the strait.” Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly Speaker Kalibaf approved the related decision. On the 23rd, Kalibaf posted on social media, denying that he had any negotiations with the United States. Kalibaf said the purpose of spreading “fake news” is to manipulate the financial and oil markets, so that the United States and Israel can get out of the deep mess they are mired in. (Xinhua)
