I just saw something pretty crazy. The numbers on Elon Musk's wealth are really hard to digest when you look at them closely.

Let's think for a moment about what his daily earnings really mean. While most of us think about monthly salaries, this guy accumulates wealth at a rate that's almost impossible to visualize. We're talking about over $320 million added to his net worth every single day. It's the kind of number that makes you lose touch with reality.

When we look at shorter time scales, it gets even more absurd. Per second, we're talking about nearly $3,700. That's the monthly salary of many people entering his account every couple of seconds. Per minute, it reaches $222.5 million. In an hour, we're talking about just over $13 million. Just enough time to sip a coffee, and he's earned more than most of us will see in a lifetime.

But the figure that strikes me the most is weekly. In seven days, Musk adds about $2.24 billion to his wealth. That's an amount comparable to a major Hollywood blockbuster. It's crazy to think that his daily earnings, multiplied by seven, surpass the budget of movies that take hundreds of people and years of work to produce.

Of course, this is mainly possible because Tesla continues to perform well on the stock market, and his other projects like SpaceX and artificial intelligence keep his market value steadily rising. It's not like he's literally earning this money in cash every day — it's more about how the market values his companies and his ownership stake.

But it still remains surreal. While you sleep, he earns what most people would consider several years' worth of income. It's one of those numbers that remind you how strange the distribution of wealth is in our world.
