“Liquor Price Insider” daily data sources come from approximately 200 collection points with reasonable distribution across major regions nationwide, including but not limited to wine-and-liquor companies’ designated distributors, social distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The original sampling data are the real terminal retail prices actually transacted through each point over the past 24 hours. It aims to provide all parties with an objective, scientific, fully traceable dataset regarding market prices of well-known baijiu. With the New Year’s Day launch of Feitian Maotai for 1,499 yuan per bottle on the official iMaotai platform, and Boutique Maotai going on sale at 2,299 yuan per bottle on January 9, the magnetic-style impact of this new channel on the terminal retail average prices of both products has gradually become apparent. “Liquor Price Insider” daily published liquor prices follow a calculation rule based on true deal volumes weighted by volume; we have introduced the determinable prices into the calculation of terminal retail prices for these two kinds of liquor.
