Abstract generation in progress

Zhongfang Net data CITIC Securities Co., Ltd. released today a summary of its 2025 Sustainability Development Report. The report shows that the company has established a sustainability development governance system led by the Board of Directors’ Development Strategy and ESG Committee, and has put in place internal reporting and oversight mechanisms. The company maintains communication with stakeholders such as customers, regulatory authorities, shareholders, and employees through multiple channels.

Based on the results of the double materiality assessment disclosed in the report, CITIC Securities has identified multiple key issues that are material in financial terms and/or in terms of impact. Among them, “climate change response” has been identified as a financially material issue; “rural revitalization” and “social contribution” have been identified as impact-material issues; “product and service safety and quality,” “data security and customer privacy protection,” “employees,” “due diligence,” “stakeholder engagement,” “anti-commercial bribery and anti-corruption,” and “honest and compliant business operations” (corresponding to “anti-unfair competition” in the guidance) have all been identified as issues with double materiality (i.e., both financially material and impact-material).

At the same time, the company has also identified issues such as “green operations” and “ecosystem and biodiversity protection” that have neither financial materiality nor impact materiality, and has committed to explaining them in the report. In addition, the report also discloses, in light of the characteristics of the securities industry, related practices regarding issues such as “responsible investing,” “green finance,” and “serving the real economy.”

This report is prepared in accordance with relevant guidelines of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and the Shenzhen Municipal Local Financial Regulatory Administration. The environmental-related key performance indicator data have been subject to limited assurance verification by KPMG Huazhen Certified Public Accountants (a limited liability partnership).
