Last week's main crude oil futures contract surged by 13%, while Brent crude oil rose over 2%.
The last session’s Shanghai Futures Exchange crude oil benchmark contract surged 13%, closing at 706.4 yuan per barrel. Brent crude rose more than 2% and is currently at $83.05 per barrel.
