In some areas, supporting measures such as promoting consumer spending and encouraging parents to take time off have been introduced to achieve the purpose of setting spring and autumn holidays.

In Jiangsu, the spring break in cities such as Nanjing and Suzhou runs from April 1 to April 3,連休 with the Qingming holiday, resulting in a 6-day “mini-holiday.” Within Sichuan province, the spring break in Chengdu is selected independently by each district (city) or county based on actual circumstances; most schedule it from April 1 to April 3. In Hubei, including Enshi and other areas, the spring break is also from April 1 to April 3. In some districts and counties in Chongqing, the spring break totals two days, with one day before and one day around the Qingming Festival.
