BYD is reportedly confident that this year's vehicle exports will reach 1.5 million units.
Mainland media cited informed sources indicating that BYD (01211) has revealed to analysts that this year’s export volume is expected to exceed the previous target by 15%.
The report states that during an analyst communication meeting held after last week’s fourth-quarter financial results announcement, which fell short of expectations, BYD’s management expressed confidence in achieving a car export volume of 1.5 million units by 2026. This figure is higher than the 1.3 million units export target disclosed in January.
