According to monitoring by 1M AI News, DeepSeek’s status page indicated that from the evening of March 29 to the morning of March 30, the web and app experienced two separate service outages, both of which have now been resolved. The first ‘service exception’ began at 21:35 on March 29, with the team identifying the issue by 22:28 and restoring service by 23:23, lasting approximately 1 hour and 48 minutes. Just 57 minutes later, at 00:20 on March 30, a second ‘performance exception’ occurred. After an initial fix at 1:24, the service failed again 52 minutes later, and following a second round of repairs at 9:13, it was finally restored by 10:33, with the second incident lasting about 10 hours. During the outages, the phrase ‘DeepSeek crashed’ trended on Weibo, with users reporting that new conversations displayed ‘server busy’ messages and content could not be loaded.
