Jensen Huang told Yang Yuanqing: This year will belong to you.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang told Lenovo Group Chairman and CEO Yang Yuanqing, “This is gonna be your year! I feel it.”
Yang Yuanqing replied to Jensen Huang, “Our business segments are very strong, even stronger than before.” To this, Jensen Huang responded, “That’s great! Very strong, we did it!”
The above conversation took place on March 16 local time at the NVIDIA GTC conference in San Jose, California.
Jensen Huang also signed “J. Huang WAS HERE” on a silver AI device from Lenovo with a marker.
“Unfortunately, we can’t sell this machine now,” Yang Yuanqing humorously replied.
It is understood that at the GTC 2026 conference, Lenovo Group and NVIDIA jointly launched the new generation of Lenovo Hybrid AI Advantage solutions, aimed at accelerating AI implementation, reducing time to first token (TTFT), and delivering measurable business results in personal, enterprise, and cloud environments.
At the GTC 2026 conference, Lenovo Group officially became the global launch partner of NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72. Compared to the previous generation, the Vera Rubin system’s throughput is improved by up to 10 times, and the cost per token is reduced to 1/10 of the previous generation, significantly enabling faster deployment and lower costs.
Jensen Huang pointed out in a public speech that the next turning point for AI will significantly boost the demand for accelerated computing, software, and AI factories, and Lenovo and NVIDIA are working together to provide a full-stack platform to support future development.
Yang Yuanqing stated that by combining NVIDIA AI Enterprise software with Lenovo’s full-stack hybrid AI platform and services, Lenovo can help customers scale AI applications with higher efficiency, lower cost per token, and faster time to market.
Lenovo Group has collaborated with NVIDIA for many years and is one of the core participants at the GTC each year. Currently, Lenovo Group and NVIDIA are advancing the real production delivery of AI globally through a new generation of AI inference platforms, AI cloud super factories, and industry-specific agentic AI solutions.
