The country's first automated production line for humanoid robots with an annual capacity of 10,000 units has been launched.
People’s Finance News, March 30 - On March 29, the country’s first automated production line for humanoid robots with an annual capacity of 10,000 units was officially put into operation in Guangdong, marking a new stage of large-scale mass production in China’s humanoid robot industry. This production line was jointly developed by Dongfang Precision and Leju Robotics, with an annual capacity exceeding 10,000 units, capable of producing one humanoid robot every 30 minutes to efficiently support the market’s bulk delivery demands. The production line covers 24 precision assembly processes and 77 full-dimensional inspections, with the entire assembly process under digital control, improving production efficiency by 50% compared to traditional methods; before leaving the line, it must also undergo 41 operational simulation tests to ensure product consistency and reliability. In addition, the production line features a flexible and highly elastic design, allowing for flexible workstation adjustments and supporting mixed-line production of multiple models, paired with intelligent warehousing and AGV automated delivery systems, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and providing critical capacity support for the large-scale development of the humanoid robot industry.
