Everyday News Recently, the war between the U.S. and Israel has caused severe fluctuations in fossil energy prices, highlighting the ongoing energy security crisis. More countries and enterprises are refocusing their attention on renewable energy. In this urgent moment of filling the gap, many enterprises have shown strong interest in China’s new energy sector.

Li Xiang, vice president of the Erdos Energy Research Institute at Peking University and a former project officer at the China Liaison Office of the International Energy Agency (IEA), stated in an interview with a reporter from the Daily Economic News that foreign enterprises’ demand for Chinese wind and solar products, as well as new energy electric vehicles, has significantly increased, indirectly creating greater overseas investment opportunities for Chinese companies. As the global energy security issue becomes more prominent, countries with insufficient oil self-sufficiency need to accelerate their energy transition, which requires a large amount of advanced and cost-effective equipment, providing an excellent opportunity for Chinese enterprises to expand abroad.
