National Energy Administration: From January to February, the total electricity market transaction volume nationwide increased by 25.5% year-on-year.

Gelonghui, March 27 | Data from the National Energy Administration shows that from January to February 2026, the cumulative power market transaction volume nationwide reached 1,192.5 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 25.5% year-on-year. In terms of transaction scope, the in-province transaction volume was 954.3 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 29.2% year-on-year; the inter-provincial and inter-regional transaction volume was 238.2 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 12.7% year-on-year. In terms of transaction types, the medium- and long-term transaction volume was 1,033.7 billion kilowatt-hours; the spot transaction volume was 158.8 billion kilowatt-hours. The green power transaction volume was 48.4 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 7.6% year-on-year.
