Not just in the crypto world, but in any industry. I believe that if a person wants to earn and preserve wealth, they must learn to control their emotions. Here are some top methods I’ve seen 👇
1. Topic Separation
That’s your business, and it has nothing to do with me. Clearly define emotional boundaries and refuse to pay for others’ emotions.
2. Emotional Detachment
Separate emotions from the situation. Before handling something, isolate the burning emotions first.
3. The 6-Second Golden Rule
Give reason some time to activate. Count to six silently before an outburst, enough to cut off the impulse from the amygdala.
4. Cognitive Restructuring
It’s not the situation that’s terrible, but your perception of it. Changing how you interpret the event can change your emotional response.
5. Physical Space Isolation
Avoid what you can’t handle. When emotions are about to spiral out of control, immediately leave the scene of conflict.
6. Acceptance of the Uncontrollable
Surrender to the randomness of the universe. You can only control your actions, don’t try to control the outside world.
7. Law of Energy Conservation
Emotional fluctuations consume a lot of energy. Not getting angry isn’t about self-cultivation, but about conserving energy for making money.
8. Third-Party Perspective
View yourself from a detached perspective. Imagine yourself as an observer, reviewing this farcical scene.
9. Exercise Consumption Method
Let endorphins defeat cortisol. Go swimming, work out, or run; physical fatigue will clear mental clutter.
10. Endgame Thinking
Look at today from the perspective of five years from now. Extend your timeline, and what you’re stressing over now will be just a speck of dust.
Avoidance, indifference, passive observation, selfishness, dead friends, and the phrase “not dead, I’m still alive.”
