Air China C919 officially begins operation on the Beijing—Xiamen and Beijing—Harbin routes

People’s Finance News, March 29 — At 9:19 a.m. on March 29, a China National Airlines (Air China) C919 domestically made commercial jet landed smoothly at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, successfully completing its first commercial passenger flight from Beijing Capital to Xiamen. The flight marks that the C919 has officially been put into routine operation on Air China’s “Beijing–Xiamen Express Line.” On the same day, the Air China C919 also made its first flight on the Beijing–Harbin route. This inaugural service is an important step in expanding the C919 route eastward to the southeast coastal areas and into Northeast China.
