Iraq says it is communicating with Iran about whether to allow some oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

Iraq’s oil minister Hayan Abdul Gani said on March 17 that he is in contact with Iran to seek approval for some oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Previously, Iraq—an OPEC member country—was forced to cut its crude oil production to one-quarter of its former level. (Jiemian News)
