Savills facilitated the transaction of 5 Lok Yi Street, Tuen Mun, with a sale price of HKD 122 million, with the buyer being an educational institution. The property is a 4-story commercial building with a site area of approximately 21,528 square feet and a total gross floor area of about 52,122 square feet.

The property features a basement and a rooftop car park, with retail space from the basement to the ground floor, and a swimming pool on the rooftop. The property is located near Harrow International School Hong Kong.

Savills’ Deputy Managing Director and Head of Kowloon Sales, Shawn Siu, stated that in this transaction, the buyer is an educational institution for self-use, reflecting that the education sector in Hong Kong is still thriving. In recent years, more educational institutions have been actively purchasing properties to enhance long-term operational stability while strengthening their brand presence in the local market.
