Tencent CodeBuddy Apologizes

Abstract generation in progress

On the evening of March 9, Tencent CodeBuddy issued an apology statement: the login and service instability issues that occurred due to a surge in traffic for CodeBuddy have now been fully fixed. The service is now completely restored to stable operation, and you can log in and use all features normally.

This outage was caused by WorkBuddy (Tencent’s version of Xiaolongxia) going live with a domestic public testing launch—after which user traffic far exceeded expectations, leading to overwhelming instantaneous pressure on the core services. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. After the incident occurred, the technical team immediately performed an emergency scale-up of 10x.

To sincerely thank every user for your enthusiastic support and patient waiting, we will, for all domestic new and existing users, provide a one-time bonus of 5000 Credits before 2026/3/31. (Tencent Cloud code assistant CodeBuddy)
