Deep Tide TechFlow news: On March 29, Ernst & Young (EY), one of the Big Four accounting firms, announced the launch of the EY Blockchain Privacy Sandbox. This is a web-based development environment that supports developers in experimenting with privacy-preserving smart contracts on public blockchains compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

The sandbox is based on EY’s proprietary and open-source zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) compiler, Starlight. It can convert standard Solidity smart contracts into privacy-preserving applications while maintaining the original contract logic. By providing a network environment that requires no local configuration and API integration support, the tool aims to lower the barriers for enterprises to adopt zero-knowledge technology and facilitate feasibility validation before official deployment.
