OPEC Monthly Report: Global oil demand growth forecast for 2026 and 2027 remains unchanged

OPEC’s monthly report maintains its global oil demand growth forecasts for 2026 and 2027 at 1.38 million barrels per day and 1.34 million barrels per day, respectively, and points out that the average daily production of OPEC+ crude oil in February was 42.72 million barrels, an increase of 445,000 barrels per day compared to January. The current geopolitical developments need to be closely monitored to assess their impact on global economic growth forecasts (if any), which is still too early to determine.
