Sina Technology reported on March 27 that at the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Meeting “OpenClaw and AI Open Source Roundtable,” Yang Zhilin, founder of the Dark Side of the Moon, served as the host and engaged in dialogue with Zhang Peng, CEO of Zhihui Huazhang, and Luo Fuli, head of Xiaomi MiMo’s large model team.

In the conversation, Luo Fuli candidly shared her views on OpenClaw, stating, “OpenClaw is a very revolutionary and disruptive event at the Agent framework level. While deep coders may still prefer ClaudeCode, those who have used OpenClaw will feel that it is leading in Agent framework design. Claude’s latest updates are actually moving closer to OpenClaw.”

Luo Fuli indicated that the core value of OpenClaw mainly consists of two points. First, it is open-source, which is very beneficial for the entire community to engage deeply, continuously improve, and keep investing in this framework. Second, frameworks like OpenClaw and Claude Code are very important prerequisites. Their significant value lies in raising the ceiling for models in China that have not yet fully approached closed-source models but are already at the forefront of open-source models.

“In the vast majority of scenarios, we find that its task completion rate is very close to that of Claude’s latest model, while it also ensures a good lower limit because it can rely on a complete harness system, skills system, and many preliminary but effective designs to ensure task completion and accuracy,” Luo Fuli stated.

Additionally, she pointed out that OpenClaw ignited everyone’s imagination, revealing that there is enormous space in the Agent layer outside of large models. More people, not just researchers, are beginning to participate in the AGI transformation, which, to some extent, replaces repetitive work and frees up time to engage in more imaginative tasks.
