Ping An's Guo Xiaotao: 2026 is the Year of Ping An Service. Global Emergency Rescue to Build the "Three A's" Service
On March 27, financial front-line news reported that Ping An of China held its 2025 performance briefing today. When discussing investments, Ping An’s Deputy General Manager Guo Xiaotao detailed the strategic upgrade and core value of Ping An’s global emergency rescue service.
Guo Xiaotao stated that 2026 will be the service year for Ping An Group, and the construction of the service system is a very important strategic direction for Ping An Group’s fourth decade. Especially in today’s financial market, which has entered an era of homogeneous and intense competition, Ping An’s goal and strategy is to create a differentiated competitive advantage through a “finance + service” system, reflecting the development direction of “investing in people” during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
The global emergency rescue service is one of Ping An’s most important service upgrades this year. According to Guo Xiaotao, this service has been provided by Ping An for many years and has achieved two key upgrades this time: the first is a comprehensive upgrade of the scenarios, covering all indoor and outdoor scenes, both domestically and internationally. In response to the growing demand for outbound tourism and studying abroad, the service helps overseas customers resolve issues such as lost passports, wallets, robberies, or sudden illnesses. For the domestic population of over 50% of empty nesters aged 60 and above, the service uses millimeter-wave radar, 24×7 elderly care managers, and family doctors to quickly detect accidents such as falls, coordinating with 120, 110, and hospitals to notify rescue teams to respond immediately.
Guo Xiaotao expressed that people can never predict which unexpected event or tomorrow will come first, and Ping An hopes to provide reliable protection for customers in any scenario, any location, and at any time through this service.
The second upgrade is service integration, deeply binding emergency rescue with medical services. Guo Xiaotao stated that whether domestically or internationally, the service not only handles sudden emergencies but can also connect customers with local quality medical facilities in the shortest time to provide the most suitable emergency medical assistance. Guo Xiaotao provided an example where last year, they moved an ICU onto a helicopter during a rescue to ensure that customers received emergency medical treatment within the critical golden half-hour to hour; they also successfully provided efficient rescue for accident victims in places such as Yellowstone National Park in the United States and Aksu in Xinjiang, and this year urgently assisted customers trapped in the Middle Eastern battlefield.
Guo Xiaotao emphasized that the core of Ping An’s global emergency rescue service is the “Three A’s” — Anything, Anywhere, Anytime.
“No matter what unexpected event occurs, Ping An’s emergency rescue is by your side” is Ping An’s service slogan this year. Guo Xiaotao stressed that through this emergency rescue approach and service, they hope to provide customers with peace of mind, allowing them to feel more at ease in continuing their long-term relationship with Ping An.
