On March 23, in response to today’s media reports about DJI suing Yingshi Innovation for patent infringement, Caixin News contacted the securities department of Yingshi Innovation as an investor. Their staff responded that they have noted the relevant information and are currently confirming it with the company’s legal department. It is reported that recently DJI officially sued Yingshi Innovation in the Intermediate People’s Court of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, involving six patent ownership disputes, with multiple former core R&D personnel from DJI being implicated.
