BlackRock does not own Bitcoin personally; the Bitcoin held in IBIT belongs to the investors in the fund. BlackRock simply manages it and charges a low management fee of (0.25%). In this way, BlackRock has significantly contributed to integrating Bitcoin into the traditional financial system and increasing institutional demand for it, which has impacted the market and driven further adoption.
