According to TechFlow news on March 29, a poll result reported by Jinshi Data shows that U.S. Vice President Vance is the preferred candidate for the Republican nomination for president at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Among the more than 1,600 attendees who participated in the vote, about 53% chose Vance, while U.S. Secretary of State Rubio came in second with 35% of the votes. CPAC is an important annual gathering for Republican lawmakers, activists, and presidential candidates. This year’s CPAC conference is being held in Grapevine, Texas, with attendees primarily from the Republican conservative camp. The annual poll at the conference is not a reliable predictor of the final candidate. However, this vote reflects the current support trends among core supporters of Trump’s “Make America Great Again (MAGA)” movement.
