Export of construction machinery increased by 33.4% in the first two months

This report from Beijing, March 25 (Reporter Li Xinping) - Reporters from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association learned that in the first two months, China’s construction machinery import and export trade amounted to $11.072 billion, a year-on-year increase of 31.4%. Among them, the export amount was $10.686 billion, a year-on-year increase of 33.4%.

In terms of export regions, exports of construction machinery products to all continents have achieved growth. Among them, the export increase to Africa reached 77%, to Oceania grew by 50.6%, and to Europe increased by 28.1%. The total export amount to countries and regions participating in the Belt and Road Initiative was $4.638 billion, accounting for 43.4% of total exports, with a year-on-year growth of 24.6%.

In terms of product types, exports of construction machinery components, crawler excavators, off-road mining dump trucks, and other categories have significantly increased. High-end and electric models have become new highlights in exports.
