On March 28, People’s Financial News reported that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi held a phone call with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the same day, during which they engaged in in-depth discussions about the current regional situation and bilateral relations. Raisi stated during the call that Iran’s defensive response to the source of attacks is just and natural. Raisi pointed out that despite previous claims and promises by U.S. officials not to attack Iran’s economic and energy infrastructure, these facilities have still been subjected to attacks in reality. This inconsistency in words and actions has clearly further intensified Iran’s extreme distrust of the aggressor, the United States. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed that any dialogue must take place in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect. He emphasized that the prerequisite for achieving this goal is to cease military aggression and stop the killing of Iranian officials and civilians. (CCTV News)
