Peter Brandt: Bitcoin could drop to $49 000.
According to his assessment, the current price movement structure aligns with classic technical analysis models, which, in his words, the crypto market "more consistently than many traditional assets." He noted that market participants' expectations do not have a decisive impact on price dynamics. He linked this level to the previous consolidation zone where large players' positions were formed. In his opinion, a return to these levels could trigger protective actions by holders and mark the final stage of the current downward movement.
In a broader context, the analyst does not consider a possible decline critical for the long-term trend. He said such corrections may reflect a redistribution of positions ahead of the next growth phase.
Earlier, SkyBridge Capital managing partner Anthony Scaramucci (Anthony Scaramucci) suggested that in the fourth quarter, Bitcoin could return to an upward trend.
