A fire at Valero Energy Corp.'s Port Arthur refinery, which followed an explosion on Monday evening, has been extinguished, and a shelter-in-place order for nearby residents has been lifted. The San Antonio-based company reported no recordable injuries among personnel, and air quality monitoring confirmed no threat to the community. The cause of the incident, which saw residents up to 11 miles away report their homes shaking, is currently under investigation.
