The A-shares are strengthening, with the ChiNext Index up over 1%! Micro-cap index up more than 2%, North China 50 up over 2%, nearly 4,300 stocks rising, computing power concept active, Sugon (Inspur) hits two consecutive limit-ups.
February 28|Major A-share indexes strengthened, with the ChiNext Index rising over 1%, the Shanghai Composite Index up 0.22%, and the Shenzhen Component Index up 0.71%. Sectors such as artificial meat, weight loss drugs, securities, and state-owned enterprises led the gains, with nearly 4,300 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets rising.
The Tonghuashun (300033) micro-index rose over 2%, and the North Securities 50 increased by over 2%.
A-share brokerage stocks opened strong, with Western Securities (002673) gaining for the third time in four days, and Huachuang Yinxin, Xinda Securities, Changjiang Securities (000783), Southwest Securities (600369), and Founder Securities (601901) also rising.
The A-share market saw a surge in gaming stocks, with Ciwen Media (002343) hitting the daily limit, and Zhongqing Bao (300052), Huayi Brothers (300027), and Xunyou Technology (300467) rising over 5%. Tianzhou Culture (300148), Kaiying Network (002517), Shifeng Culture (002862), and Caesar Culture (002425) also followed suit. On the news front, the National Press and Publication Administration released the approval information for domestic online games in February on the 27th, with a total of 111 games receiving approval.
The A-share computing power concept reactivated, with Zhongke Shuguang hitting two consecutive limits, and Runjian Shares (002929), Unisplendour (000938), Zhongqing Bao, Cambricon, and Zhongbei Communication (603220) rising over 5%. Zhejiang Securities (601878) believes that generative AI is expected to bring a leap in social productivity, marking the start of the “fourth industrial revolution,” and the cornerstone of industrial development is abundant, low-cost computing power supply. From this perspective, it is imperative for our country to vigorously develop domestic computing power.
The hydrogen energy sector was active in the morning, with Compton (603798), Hongtao Shares (002325), and Yinglite (000635) hitting the daily limit, and Hanma Technology reaching its limit as well. New Power (310328), Zhongtai Shares (300435), Shenghui Technology, and Houpu Shares (300471) also rose over 5%. On the news front, the China Hydrogen Energy Alliance Research Institute reported that at the beginning of 2024, during local two sessions, 22 out of 31 provincial-level administrative regions included hydrogen energy in their government work reports, with the number of provinces mentioning hydrogen energy development showing a trend of annual increase.
Hong Kong tech stocks strengthened, with the Hang Seng Technology Index’s gains expanding to over 1%.
