On March 28, Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly Speaker Ghalibaf stated on social media that the U.S. is spreading a large amount of misinformation to suppress oil prices, leading the market to become numb to it, with ‘no one buying it anymore.’ Ghalibaf remarked that this approach ‘seems very strong, but cannot be considered smart.
