Guangxi Energy Co., Ltd. completes and puts into operation its first high-voltage electrode boiler project

Recently, the first high-pressure electrode boiler invested and built by Guangtou Huzhou Power Plant, a subsidiary of Guangxi Energy Co., Ltd., has been successfully completed and put into operation, providing stable, high-quality heat energy to support the development of Huzhou Renxin CHP Green Technology Park, a major project in the autonomous region.
The project newly builds one electrode boiler with an evaporation capacity of 30 tons/hour (2.5-3.0 MPa, 350°C). It is connected to the plant’s medium-pressure heating supply system. Thermal efficiency can reach over 99%. The equipment starts up quickly and operates reliably. Within the load range of 10% to 100%, it can achieve stepless control, adapting to different operating conditions. It not only makes space for power generation for new energy units, but also further enhances the grid’s ability for deep peak shaving, significantly improving the units’ heating capacity and their deep, flexible peak-shaving capability during the heating season. It strengthens heating security for the park and is of great significance for addressing the challenges of new energy absorption and promoting green development of local economic and social development.
Since the project was launched, facing severe challenges such as tight construction schedules, high technical requirements, and high difficulty in integrated coordination—along with the harsh conditions near year-end and the beginning of the year and the Spring Festival holiday—the project construction team led the work with party building, organized and established a Party Member Pioneer Team, scientifically organized operations, and tackled key project milestones. They broke down tasks to the day and ensured responsibilities were落实到人, adopting targeted measures to ensure safety, improve quality, and accelerate progress. They efficiently completed all key milestone tasks within the planned time, ensuring the project was put into operation on schedule and operated stably, and fully completed the heating security support mission.
With the project put into operation, it provides a replicable and scalable model for energy-saving retrofits in the same type of industry across the autonomous region. It has officially achieved the goal of stable medium-pressure steam supply to Renxin Green Industrial Park. With clean, efficient energy support, it injects strong momentum into high-quality regional industrial development, and provides strong support for optimizing the park’s business environment and enhancing the park’s competitiveness, attractiveness, and draw.
Next, Guangtou Huzhou Power Plant will continue to optimize unit operation and management, further tap the system’s potential for peak shaving, and further promote the extension and expansion of the district heating pipelines, enhancing the level of comprehensive energy utilization. It will help build a cleaner, more efficient, and safer regional energy system and make greater contributions to serving the local economy’s green and low-carbon transition and ensuring stable energy supply and energy security.
