The deepest impact of Permaweb is not actually technological, but a redefinition of internet rules.

Today’s internet is essentially platform-driven. Platforms determine whether content exists, set the rules, and control distribution.
But in @Permaweb_DAO, this power is dismantled. Once data is uploaded, it cannot be deleted or tampered with, and it can be accessed globally through gateways.
As I observe this system, I have a strong feeling that it is transforming the internet from a service into infrastructure.
You no longer rely on a platform to host content but depend directly on the network itself.
Of course, this model also introduces new issues, such as the ethical challenges posed by non-deletable data.
But undeniably, it is changing something very fundamental.
The internet is no longer fleeting; it is beginning to have memory.
Once this becomes accepted, many of our familiar rules will be rewritten.
