(MENAFN) Meta Platforms and NVIDIA announced Tuesday a long-term strategic collaboration aimed at expanding Meta’s AI-optimized data centers and accelerating the development of advanced artificial intelligence systems.

The agreement involves large-scale integration of NVIDIA’s computing and networking technologies across Meta’s global data centers to support AI training, inference, and the company’s core services. The partnership is designed to improve performance per watt, enabling more efficient AI operations at scale.

“No one deploys AI at Meta’s scale — integrating frontier research with industrial-scale infrastructure to power the world’s largest personalization and recommendation systems for billions of users,” said NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang.

He added, “Through deep co-design across CPUs, GPUs, networking, and software, we are bringing the full NVIDIA platform to Meta’s researchers and engineers as they build the foundation for the next AI frontier.”

As part of the expanded collaboration, Meta will implement NVIDIA’s Confidential Computing technology to power AI-driven features in WhatsApp while maintaining data privacy and security. The company will also adopt NVIDIA’s Spectrum-X Ethernet networking platform across its infrastructure to enable low-latency, high-performance networking optimized for AI workloads.

Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said, “We’re excited to expand our partnership with NVIDIA to build leading-edge clusters using their Vera Rubin platform to deliver personal superintelligence to everyone in the world.”
