【Red Child City 9911】Middle East and North Africa operations accounted for 60% of last year's total revenue. Red Child City Technology: Iran conflict has not affected the company's operations.
The social networking app SUGO and the social game TopTop’s parent company, Red Baby City Technology (09911), recently released its performance report. Last year, the revenue from the Middle East and North Africa accounted for 60% of total revenue. Senior Vice President Song Pengliang stated that the Middle East business is concentrated in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and the conflict in Iran has not affected the company’s operations.
Song Pengliang joked that compared to other markets, the Middle East region is not as “intensely competitive,” and the local population has more leisure time, resulting in greater demand for emotional value products.
Red Baby City acquired the dating platform MICO in earlier years. When asked about future acquisition directions, Song Pengliang indicated that there will be opportunities for social or innovative business mergers and acquisitions in the Japanese and European markets, and the company prefers to use its own cash for related acquisitions.
In recent years, Red Baby City has actively expanded into the overseas short video business, acquiring Playlet for 6 million USD in 2025. Senior Vice President Song Pengliang pointed out that compared to the domestic market, the overseas short video market started later but still represents a blue ocean market with significant growth potential, which is why the company chose to enter this field at this time.
The Hong Kong headquarters has about 20 employees focusing on AI research and development and fund settlement.
Additionally, Red Baby City entered the Hong Kong Science Park last year under its subsidiary Solo X Technology and established its global headquarters in Hong Kong. Chief Operating Officer Li Yongjie stated that there are currently about 20 employees in Hong Kong, mainly focusing on AI research and development and fund settlement.
