On March 27, People’s Financial News reported that on March 26 local time, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov stated that Russia’s actions clearly demonstrate that the United States has shown interest in the global energy market, with official documents and statements from officials explicitly indicating an intention to seek dominance in the global energy market. Regarding the sabotage of the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline, Lavrov stated that Ukrainian saboteurs blew up the pipeline with obvious support from Western intelligence agencies. France and Germany did not condemn this act, and the United States is now also expressing a desire to “take over” the Nord Stream pipeline. The overseas operations of Russia’s Lukoil and Rosneft are facing attempts of predatory seizure. Lavrov emphasized that regardless of the economic situation, Russia will always fulfill its obligations and maintain relations with partners who adhere to the same principles. (Xinhua News Agency)
