The world's largest MLCC supplier, Murata, initiates a comprehensive price increase with the highest rise reaching 35%

The reporter learned that Murata, a major passive component manufacturer, has officially announced a price increase, launching a comprehensive price hike for AI servers and high-end automotive-grade MLCC products, with an increase of 15%-35%. The new pricing system will take effect on April 1 (subject to the company receiving orders). Murata is the world’s largest MLCC supplier, holding over 40% of the global market share and 70% of the global market share for AI servers. This is also the first large-scale price adjustment by Murata in nearly three years, which may indicate that the global passive components market is entering a new round of price increases.
