ChainCatcher message: Strategy founder Michael Saylor stated that approximately 80% of the perpetual preferred shares STRC issued by the company are held by retail investors. The product pays dividends monthly, with a current annualized yield of about 11.5%.

Saylor mentioned that STRC was designed as a low-volatility income instrument trading around a $100 par value, and its dividend rate can be adjusted based on market conditions. Strategy has raised funds through this product this year and used them to allocate to Bitcoin, with a total investment approaching $3 billion, and plans to raise a total of $42 billion through related financing arrangements, of which STRC accounts for $21 billion. A Benchmark analyst pointed out that as demand for STRC increases, Strategy’s ability to allocate to Bitcoin may continue to strengthen.
