Kingsoft Office's net profit exceeded 1.8 billion yuan last year, strengthening AI technology deployment
On March 25, Kingsoft Office released its 2025 annual financial report. The company achieved an annual revenue of 5.929 billion yuan, a year-over-year increase of 15.78%; net profit attributable to the parent company was 1.836 billion yuan, up 11.63%. Operating net cash flow reached 2.502 billion yuan, an increase of 14%. Performance remains steady. As of the end of the reporting period, WPS Office’s global monthly active devices reached 678 million, up 7.29% year-over-year, including 329 million monthly active devices on PC (up 13.18%) and 349 million on mobile (up 2.28%).
The financial report shows that the company’s core strategies of “AI, collaboration, and internationalization” are delivering results and have become the main drivers of performance growth. Notably, WPS 365 performed strongly, with annual revenue of 720 million yuan, a 64.93% increase year-over-year. Revenue growth in this segment has exceeded 60% for four consecutive quarters. The company continues to deepen penetration among central state-owned enterprises, private companies, and foreign-invested firms. Industry-specific versions for sectors such as healthcare, education, and government have been launched, filling gaps in professional office solutions across multiple fields. The personal and software business segments also grew steadily, with revenues of 3.626 billion yuan and 1.461 billion yuan, respectively, representing increases of 10.42% and 15.24%.
Amid the AI boom, Kingsoft Office is continuously strengthening its AI technology deployment. By the end of 2025, the domestic monthly active users of WPS AI exceeded 80.13 million, a 307% increase year-over-year. The daily token call volume generated by its services surpassed 200 billion, a more than 12-fold increase. The company is advancing office automation through a dual-track strategy, deeply integrating AI capabilities into high-frequency scenarios such as document creation and data analysis. The launch of WPS Lingxi’s three major intelligent agents marks an upgrade from “assistive tools” to “intelligent collaborators,” aligning with the industry trend of AI office solutions evolving from basic assistance to full-process intelligence. To support technological R&D, the company invested 2.095 billion yuan in 2025, a 23.57% increase, with R&D personnel accounting for over 65%.
The company’s internationalization strategy has achieved breakthroughs. Overseas revenue from WPS personal services reached 282 million yuan, a 53.67% increase. The number of paid personal users abroad was 2.85 million, up 63.39%. Monthly active devices overseas reached 245 million, including 42.47 million PC-based monthly active devices, up 53.78%. The company completed multi-region product upgrades and data center deployments. WPS 365 international version partnered with overseas collaborators to develop AI-powered collaborative office solutions, serving outbound enterprises and local overseas clients.
Currently, the AI office industry is in a critical stage of technological upgrading and scene deepening, with rapid industry growth. Traditional office software vendors, AI startups, and internet giants are forming a diverse competitive landscape. Scene specialization and vertical industry customization are becoming core differentiation strategies. With a large user base from its office tools, can Kingsoft Office leverage this advantage to further capture the AI office market? Industry insiders believe that enterprise customer demands have shifted from basic efficiency improvements to professional, full-chain solutions, which will test companies’ capabilities in R&D, full-scenario deployment, and ecosystem building.
