Abstract generation in progress

The China Weaponry Automation Research Institute has independently developed the latest generation of robotic wolves. Compared to the previous generation, they have a more robust body, smarter brains, and more practical combat capabilities. The newest robotic wolves can carry more weapon systems, including micro-missiles and grenade launchers, enabling them to suppress targets with firepower.

Depending on the mission, these robotic wolves have three prominent names:

  • Responsible for reconnaissance: “Shadow”

  • Responsible for strike: “Bloodbath”

  • Responsible for support: “Polar”

Recently, the robotic wolf team conducted a simulated urban alley combat drill, demonstrating the hardcore capabilities of “Polar,” “Shadow,” and “Bloodbath” in a realistic combat scenario.

Carrying 25 kilograms and crossing a 30-centimeter-high platform

Latest generation of robotic wolves with improved stability

Compared to the previous generation, the stability of the robotic wolves has been greatly enhanced:

They can quickly traverse uneven ruins at speeds up to 15 km/h. This explosive power allows the robotic wolves to move seamlessly through cities, ruins, riverbanks, and beaches.

With 12 degrees of freedom in their limbs, mimicking real wolves, they are more agile and can switch gait modes at any time.

Carrying 25 kilograms, they can easily cross 30-centimeter-high platforms thanks to significantly increased motor power.

This ability to adapt to complex terrains enables the robotic wolves to charge up mountain slopes and infiltrate urban ruins, truly achieving combat from all angles.

The robotic wolf team can also coordinate decision-making. Each robotic wolf shares perception information in real-time, forming a collective “brain” for shared awareness, enabling automatic collaboration, joint judgment, and synchronized actions.

Integrated air and ground operations, coordinated strikes

Upon reaching the target area, two “Shadow” robotic wolves collaboratively create a map, which is then transmitted to a triple-screen command terminal. This triple-screen command terminal serves as the command and control room for the robotic wolf squad, capable of collecting real-time front-line information, coordinating multiple robotic wolves, and even aerial drones, achieving integrated air-ground operations and coordinated strikes.

The “Polar” support robotic wolf has caught up with the front-line “Bloodbath” strike robotic wolf. The “Bloodbath” wolf is approaching the simulated target, preparing to fire. Its laser emitter, once locked onto the target, will cause smoke to appear above the simulated target, indicating a hit.

Autonomous recognition and targeting

Robotic wolves change weapon loads based on the mission

In combat, robotic wolves typically autonomously identify and aim, with human operators confirming the strikes. Depending on the mission, they can also switch to different weapon loads.

Operators remotely control “Bloodbath” No. 1 via voice commands, with its quadruple micro-missile launcher first aiming at the target;

Once close to the target, they use data gloves to operate “Bloodbath” No. 2, simulating fire suppression on groups of targets with a grenade launcher;

When deep in the battlefield, they control “Bloodbath” No. 3 with electronic grips, equipped with an 191 automatic rifle, to perform precise strikes.

This series of robotic wolves forms a layered firepower system with lightweight and heavy units, significantly enhancing individual soldier combat effectiveness.
