China concept stocks fell 2.6%, closing at 6,721 points. After Meituan’s earnings, ADR stock prices initially rose, once up 3.8% compared to Hong Kong, but due to macro factors, turned lower at close, ending 1.6% below the Hong Kong closing price.

Northbound funds shrink to HKD 3.3 billion, buying into the Tracker Fund; China Oil, Kuaishou, and selling Alibaba and SMIC

Northbound funds attracted HKD 3.34 billion, mainly buying the Tracker Fund (02800), with net inflows of HKD 1.38 billion for the day. China Oil (00883) and Kuaishou (01024) recorded net inflows of HKD 1 billion and HKD 910 million respectively; meanwhile, Alibaba (09988) and SMIC (00981) saw net outflows of HKD 1 billion and HKD 520 million.

The Hang Seng Index drops 479 points, falling below 25,000. Kuaishou shares plunge 14%, China Life drops 8%, Meituan down over 3% after earnings, Pop Mart trades over HKD 15.3 billion, down another 10%, a three-day decline of 30%.
