However, the laying hen stock remains relatively high, limiting upward potential. It is expected that egg prices will fluctuate in the near term. Today, the average egg price in main producing areas is 6.54 yuan/kg in Shandong, unchanged from yesterday; 6.33 yuan/kg in Hebei, down 0.03 yuan from yesterday; 7.27 yuan/kg in Guangdong, unchanged from yesterday; and 6.7 yuan/kg in Beijing, unchanged from yesterday.
