Mich. County Sues 3M And DuPont Over Airport PFAS

A county in northern Michigan has filed a lawsuit against 3M, DuPont, and other chemical manufacturers, alleging that firefighting foam produced by these companies contained harmful PFAS chemicals. This action expands the ongoing multidistrict litigation concerning “forever chemicals.” The complaint, filed in federal court, targets several companies including Corteva Inc. and Tyco Fire Products.
