Chongqing Steel Holds February Production and Operations Analysis Meeting

On March 17, the company held the February production and operations analysis meeting at the Academic Lecture Hall of the Conference Center. The meeting conveyed the spirit of the Zhongnan Steel 2026 Management Training Conference and the Second Session of the Second Staff and Workers Congress, reviewed and summarized the February production and operations work, and planned the next key tasks. Company leaders, assistant managers and above from various units and factories (including specialists, experts, directors, and chief engineers) attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Zhao Shiqing, Senior Vice President (acting).

Brief biography:

Zhao Shiqing, male, born August 1980, Senior Engineer. Graduated in 2003 from Chongqing University of Science and Technology with a major in Ironmaking, and in 2022 obtained a Doctor of Engineering degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Chongqing University.

He has served as Party Secretary, Executive Director, and General Manager of Chongqing Qianxin Energy Environmental Protection Co., Ltd.; Party Branch Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager of Chongqing Qianxin New Energy Co., Ltd.; Factory Director and Vice President of Chongqing Steel Ironmaking Plant. From June 2018 to June 2020, he was seconded as Deputy Director of the Economic and Information Technology Committee of Changshou District, Chongqing. Later, he served as Director of Operations Management Center, Director of the Technical Research Institute, and Vice President of Baowu Group Zhongnan Steel Co., Ltd. In November 2023, he was appointed as Senior Vice President of Chongqing Steel by the Board of Directors. During his tenure, he promoted integrated logistics management reform, presided over the company’s annual technological innovation conference and joint maintenance meetings, guided the construction of environmental ultra-low emission projects in the Ironmaking Department, and promoted coordinated development of production and environmental protection.
