The province with the highest automobile production, exports surged by 188%

Today, Cui Dongshu, Secretary General of the China Passenger Car Association, announced that in January-February 2026, China’s automobile exports reached 1.55 million units, a 61% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Among them, Anhui’s automobile exports in February were 150,000 units, a surge of 188% year-on-year. Cui Dongshu stated that this is mainly due to the relatively strong local companies in Anhui, as well as the establishment of companies like BYD in Hefei. According to the National Bureau of Statistics database, in 2025, Anhui ranked first in the country for automobile production. (First Financial)
