Uncle Bao tearfully shouts, "Zhang Xuefeng, get up," moving people to tears. In the eyes of an ordinary entrepreneur from Suzhou, Zhang Xuefeng is grateful for his little deeds.

Uncle Bao cried out, shouting to Zhang Xuefeng, “Get up for me!”

Unfortunately, we will never hear Zhang Xuefeng’s response again—Introduction.

“Zhang Xuefeng, you big-eyed, thick-browed guy, get up for me!”

Hearing Uncle Bao crying and shouting to Zhang Xuefeng in this short video titled “No Question West, Just Seek Peace,” saying that he hadn’t yet had a meal with him—Zhang Xuefeng, you can’t leave, you need to get up—viewers couldn’t help but tear up.

As a peer in the education field and a startup founder who gained popularity in the new media era, Uncle Bao feels more deeply than anyone the helpless sadness of Zhang Xuefeng’s sudden passing.

Details of the rescue shared by insiders indicate that colleagues quickly took him to the hospital, with expert-level hospital vice presidents personally involved in the rescue, using the best available emergency measures regardless of cost.

Everyone hoped to save Zhang Xuefeng, racing against death together.

But… Zhang Xuefeng’s 41 years of life stopped at 3:50 PM on March 24, 2026.

Until the moment his live stream on the Zhang Xuefeng Matrix account ended, viewers still asked about his health and prayed for him.

Everyone hoped for a miracle.

I live and work in Suzhou, just like Zhang Xuefeng, and there are always ten or so people around me who know him personally.

Years ago, I was involved in the behind-the-scenes work for the Suzhou Jinji Lake Live Broadcast Competition. Since it was the first city-level live broadcast contest held in Suzhou and the first of its kind, we wanted to expand its influence.

Someone suggested inviting Zhang Xuefeng to be the image ambassador for the contest.

Zhang Xuefeng really came, supporting our local Suzhou live broadcast competition. His portrait was authorized for promotional use, and he tirelessly promoted the event at the launch and subsequent occasions.

He and his team never discussed money or rewards proactively. He also encouraged his colleagues to sign up for the competition.

During the final photo with the winners, Zhang Xuefeng took the initiative to bring the hosts to the center stage, standing aside and happily playing a supporting role.

That live broadcast competition alone had thousands of applicants, instantly boosting its influence and brand effect.

At that time, Zhang Xuefeng had already settled in Suzhou, running his company successfully. His influence extended beyond trending topics; his move from Beijing to Suzhou inspired many college students to consider Suzhou—a city known for its inclusiveness, respect for talent, and entrepreneurial warmth—as a place to start their careers.

People often say Shanghai has Li Jiaqi, Hefei has Xiao Yang Ge, Beijing has Papi Jiang, but Suzhou has no phenomenon-level internet celebrity.

Actually, Suzhou does have Zhang Xuefeng, but the term “phenomenon-level internet celebrity” doesn’t fully capture or define him.

Zhang Xuefeng is also a responsible entrepreneur in Suzhou. He’s long been financially secure, yet he remains the boss who says he’s not afraid of sudden death and still strives at the forefront of entrepreneurship.

Looking at his social media accounts, searching the keyword “tired,” you’ll find that over the years of his entrepreneurial journey, Zhang Xuefeng has posted more than 50 times saying “so tired,” “a bit tired,” “so exhausted,” “tired to tears.”

But every time he finishes and posts such feelings, he turns around and keeps working.

As a fellow entrepreneur and night owl, I understand his persistence. After his passing, friends sent messages urging me, who also fights on the front lines of startups, that I shouldn’t stay up so late anymore—health comes first.

After Zhang Xuefeng’s death, some influential figures on the internet said he missed three opportunities for salvation in his life, claiming that he interfered too much in students’ fate and trying to fight against the unstoppable “big tree” with his own strength.

But most people are grateful for the sincerity behind Zhang Xuefeng’s anxiety. He came from a small town in the Northeast, wrote a legendary story for underprivileged students, accumulated hundreds of millions in wealth, and still insisted on giving back to society.

Because he’s been through rain, he’s willing to hold umbrellas for more people.

Every year, Zhang Xuefeng donates at least 5 million yuan to support students who can’t afford college. His company account always has reserve funds enough to pay several hundred employees’ half-year salaries.

Now, Zhang Xuefeng has truly become a legend in the memory of the generation he once talked about during his live streams, and after his death, he topped trending searches.

But no one wishes for this sudden ending—only 41 years old, outpacing wealth but unable to outrun the high strain on his heart.

He still had a young daughter who hadn’t finished elementary school and an elderly mother with white hair waiting at home.

In the past, on Mango TV’s reality shows, his daughter Zhang Nanhang waited nine hours for her father, Zhang Xuefeng, and finally, after a seven-hour flight, she saw her tired father.

She threw herself into his arms and cried, and Zhang Xuefeng gently comforted her.

This time, his daughter has no arms to cry in, and Zhang Xuefeng’s promise to her—“Dad will always be with you”—can no longer be fulfilled.

Perhaps, in another time and space, this is the last warning from heaven to Zhang Xuefeng.

His epitaph, already written openly during his live chats with fans before his death, says: “Life is really fun, I’ll come back in the next life.”

Zhang Xuefeng, to your fans who love you and those you’ve helped, in the next life, don’t be so responsible—just happily do what you love.
