Coinbase has taken down the page that requested users to enter their plaintext seed phrases.

Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 26 — Yu Xian, founder of Slow Fog, posted on the X platform that Coinbase has taken down the page requesting users to enter their plaintext seed phrases. He pointed out that the security model for online web wallets is very weak, far below that of extensions and apps; online web pages collecting plaintext seed phrases are easily mimicked by phishing websites, and this has long been a common phishing tactic.
