AI startup Reflection, supported by NVIDIA, has raised its funding target to $2.5 billion, with a potential valuation of $25 billion. If achieved, this would become one of the largest financings in the open-source AI sector. The company was founded in 2024 by former Google DeepMind researchers Misha Laskin and Ioannis Antonoglou and is headquartered in New York. It aims to build a freely usable and customizable American open-source AI model system, targeting the creation of a technology network that competes with overseas rivals based on NVIDIA’s chip ecosystem. According to insiders, JPMorgan is planning to participate in this round of investment through its ‘Safety and Resilience Program,’ and existing investor Disruptive is also expected to follow suit.
