How will the full solid-state battery vehicle deployment plan affect equipment companies’ orders?

According to a research report from CITIC Securities on March 25, in the lithium battery equipment sector, automakers have clarified their full solid-state vehicle deployment guidelines, awaiting equipment-side bidding catalysts. The industrialization progress in the solid-state battery field is significant, with major companies announcing successful production of full solid-state batteries and subsequent vehicle deployment guidelines, attracting considerable attention. Currently, the sector is in the “hitting zone,” with leading battery manufacturers initiating GWh-scale full solid-state battery production equipment tenders, aiming to achieve small batch demonstration vehicle deployment by 2027 and large-scale mass production by 2030. The window for equipment companies’ order fulfillment and performance release is opening, and the industry chain’s volume and prices are expected to rise together. We continue to be optimistic about the investment value of the solid-state battery sector.
