Hyundai Hopes to Double Sales in China

Hyundai Motor CEO Jose Munoz stated at the shareholders’ meeting that China and India will be the two main sources of revenue. The mid-term goal for the Chinese market is to increase annual sales to 500,000 units, with plans to launch 20 new models in mainland China over the next five years.

For the Indian market, an investment of $5 billion (approximately HKD 3.9 billion) will be made over the next five years, with plans to introduce 26 new models. Additionally, 36 new models will be launched in the North American market.
