Midday Review: Shanghai Composite Index Up 0.88%, Green Power Concept Repeatedly Active
People’s Financial News, March 25 — The three major A-share indices opened higher and then fluctuated in the morning. The Shanghai Composite Index retreated above 3,900 points. By midday, the Shanghai Composite rose 0.88%, the Shenzhen Component Index increased 1.37%, and the ChiNext Index gained 1.26%.
In the market, the green energy concept was active repeatedly, with China Power LiaoNeng hitting 8 consecutive limit-ups, and Liaoning Energy and Zhejiang New Energy each hitting 3 consecutive limit-ups. The computing power leasing concept strengthened, with Aorui De and Dawei Technology among the stocks hitting the daily limit. The CPO concept was active, with Mingpu Optical Magnet hitting the limit.
The oil and gas sector adjusted, with Intercontinental Oil & Gas falling over 4%. Precious metals, tourism, and sports concepts also led gains, while coal, photovoltaic equipment, and solid-state battery concepts saw the largest declines.
